Patsy (Rhodes) Aldridge

Patsy Rhodes Aldridge, 68, of Poplar Bluff died in her home on Wednesday, August 24, 2011.

Mrs. Aldridge was born on January 16, 1943 in Holly Ridge, LA. She had lived in Poplar Bluff for the last 21 years. Mrs. Aldridge was a retired nurse who enjoyed painting, working in her yard and showering love on her animals.

On December 24, 1968, she was married to Dr. George Aldridge in Ft. Sill, OK. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Mike Aldridge and his wife Charlotte; daughters, Melissa Aldridge, Deborah Aldridge and Ann Aldridge; daughter-in-law, Heather Aldridge; sister, Julia Loftin; nine grandchildren; and many good friends.

Two sons, Charlie Aldridge and Justin Aldridge and her parents Earl and Evelyn Rhodes, preceded Mrs. Aldridge in death.

The family will receive and visit with family and friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff to celebrate Patsy's life.
