Patsy Ruth Pierce, 77, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Pierce was born Nov. 7, 1933 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Protestant faith, and had retired as an executive secretary to the president of Ozark Border Electrical Coop. Mrs. Pierce enjoyed going to yard sales.
She was married to Billy Joe Pierce. He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1997.
Survivors include a niece, Julie Sievers, of Poplar Bluff; and a nephew, John Francis of Grandin, Mo.
Her parents, Theodore and Myrtle (Cross) Francis and brothers, Ted Francis and John Francis, Sr. also preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
