Paulette Jean Kiser Swindle

Paulette Jean (Kiser) Swindle, of Bonham, TX passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Denison TX at the age of 67.

Ms. Swindle was born Aug 30, 1948 to Elmer "Glen" Kiser and Mary "Louise" (Sells) Kiser. She was a 1966 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and then attended Poplar Bluff Vocational School where she became an LPN. Ms. Swindle worked at Poplar Bluff Hospital, Lucy Lee Hospital and Three Rivers Healthcare. She served the community as a nurse for over 30 years, working ER, ICU, Pediatrics and Med-Surg. She loved sewing and crocheting and would pass on hand made gifts made with love to many.

She is survived by her daughter, Shawna L (Earnie) Wilson of Ellsinore; three granddaughters, Christina, Victoria, and Rebecca Wilson of Missouri; three great grandchildren, Trinity, Elijah and Savannah Jackson; two sisters, Glenda L Kiser and Rhonda S Barger, both of Ladonia, TX; two nieces, Amanda (Lance Anderson) Barger and Angela (Abdul) Khammash; a nephew, Tyler Barger; three great nieces, Kassie, Layla and Alexa; one great nephew, Jaxson, all of Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She also held dear to her heart many people she considered family such as numerous coworkers throughout the years, classmates of Shawna as well as the residents and staff of Bonham Nursing Center.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, May 22 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be on Monday, May 23 at noon at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Cochran Cemetery in Butler County.
