Pauline (Brown) Taylor, 88 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on August 5, 2025 at home. She is remembered for her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Pauline is survived by her sisters, Darline Brown of Poplar Bluff, MO and Diane “Dorothy” Williams of Broseley, MO and brothers, Willie Brown of Broseley, MO and Edward Brown, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; five daughters, Ellen “Bunny” Harris-Dorris, Brenda Johnson (Napoleon), Paula Taylor (Gary), Janice Taylor of Poplar Bluff and Mildred Clegg (Robert) of Indianapolis, IN; four sons, Everett Brown, Milton “Roy” Taylor Jr., Johnny Taylor (Charmane) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Isaac Taylor (Oudete) of Plainfield, IL; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Taylor, Sr., parents, Edward and Lillie (Fields) Brown, brothers Willard and Jeweral Brown, and son Edward Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 11:00 am – noon at New Home Missionary Baptist Church in Broseley, MO, with services immediately following. Rev. Ronald McCain will officiate.
Burial will take place at Morocco-Providence Cemetery in Broseley, MO.
