Pearl I. Griffin, 68, of Poplar Bluff, passed away, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at The Manor in Poplar Bluff.
Ms. Griffin was born Dec. 13, 1944 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and had previously worked at Smiley Container Factory and Wal-Mart. Mrs. Griffin enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, and flower and vegetable gardening.
Survivors include her son, Cecil Deloy Baucom (Susan), of Poplar Bluff; 7 grandchildren, Regina, Stephanie, Shelby, Nathan, Autumn, Steven, Frederick; 3 great-grandchildren, Lola, Caden and Jeanie; 4 sisters, Mary Lou Francis, of St. Charles, Ill., Neoma Lee Sandage, of Qulin, Ora Ruth Wells, of Clubb, Mo., and Rita Jean Wilkes, of Poplar Bluff; and 3 brothers, John William Griffin, of Calhoun, La., Cecil Walter Griffin, of Poplar Bluff, and Charlie Eugene Griffin, of Naylor.
Her parents, Walter and Alma Maxine (Croy) Griffin, and a sister, Bertha May Dillinger preceded Ms. Griffin in death.
A Memorial Service will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with Jearl Griffin officiating.
