Peggy Jane Butler

Peggy Jane Butler, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at The Manor.
Mrs. Butler, daughter of the late Cecil and Ica Mae (Smith) Sinden was born Dec. 20, 1932 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of First Church of God. Mrs. Butler enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and their spouses. She also enjoyed reading, doing crafts and sewing.
On Aug. 13, 1950, she married L.B. Butler in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death Nov. 26, 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Rob) Stewart of Doniphan, Mo. and Tressa (Ronald) Hornbeck of Springtown, Texas; six grandchildren, Robbie (Ashlea) Stewart, Belinda (Dwight) Eversole, Caleb (Michelle) Stewart, Michelle Kettell, Joe Jr. (Debbie) Butler and Pam Chambers; 18 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bill (Peggy) Sinden of St. Louis, Mo. and Virgil Sinden of Largo, Fl.
A son, Joseph Butler also preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Butler’s son in law Rob Stewart will officiate. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.Funeral Service
