Peggy Sue (Conway) Theobald

Peggy Sue Theobald, 77, of Williamsville, Mo., died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Theobald, daughter of the late William and Lola Foster Conway was born June 10, 1937 in Swift, Mo. For 11 years she worked for Handy Things, and retired in 2002 from Briggs and Stratton. Mrs. Theobald enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, fishing and traveling.

On Sept. 22, 1981, she married Jerry Theobald in Butler County, Mo. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include five children: Donald (Marva) Bergkoetter, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Deanna (Tom) Wilson of Florissant, Mo., David (Marsha) Bergkoetter of Lively Grove, Ill., Lawrence Lee Theobald, of Los Angeles, Ca., and Elizabeth Theobald of New Athens, Ill.; four grandchildren: Fran Bergkoetter, Drew Mueller, Peter Wilson and Jack Wilson; and sister, Linda Gale of St. Louis, Mo.

In addition to her parents six sisters also preceded Mrs. Theobald in death.

A Celebration of her Life will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with Pastor David Thomas officiating. There will not be a burial.
