Peggy Lou Tipton
February 16, 1925 — June 15, 2012
Peggy Lou Tipton, 87, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday June 15, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Tipton was born Feb. 16, 1925 in Miami, Okla. and was a member of Living Word Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, crocheting, sewing, making crafts and painting pictures.
On December 16, 1945 she was married to James W. Tipton in Pomana, Calif. and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2003.
Surviving are three children, Arthur N. Tipton of Piedmont, Loretta J. Tyler of Poplar Bluff and Broderick M. Tipton of Castle Rock Col.; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. ? 8:00 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel.
