Phyllis Darlene (Winchester) Moussette

Phyllis Darlene Moussette, 74, of Greenville, Mo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Moussette, the daughter of the late Thomas and Priscilla (Cleveland) Winchester, was born Sept. 10, 1941 in Caseyville, Ill. She was a member of Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church in Wappapello and was a retired Registered Nurse. Mrs. Moussette enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing.

On Dec. 20, 1958, she married Daniel E. Moussette in East St. Louis, Mo. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include five children: Daniel (Linda) Moussette of Fairview Heights, Ill., Timothy (Pamela) Moussette of Collinsville, Ill., Scott (Patti) Moussette of Richwood, Mo., Michelle (Greg) Isringhaus of Blackwell, Mo., Lynne (Mike) Shellum of Fenton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren: Chrystal and Kaylin Moussette, David "Bud" Moussette, Travis, Chris and Ashley Moussette, Ronnie, Robert, Heather and Chris Rankin, Ethan Isringhaus and Jonathan Schellum; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Marilyn (Joe) Obal of Fairview Heights, Ill. and Judy Beckwith of Benton, Ark.

A son, David Moussette and a brother, Frederick "Bud" Winchester also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Wappapello Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Little Brushy Cemetery at Wappapello.
