Preston Michael Shaw

Preston Michael Shaw, 25, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Preston was born Sept. 12, 1989 in Poplar Bluff. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School and attended Three Rivers College with plans to attend medical school. Preston attended Green Forest Church of Christ and John 3:16 Ministries. He worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for Young's General Contracting Company. Preston enjoyed spending time with his family and dog, Tyson, being on the river with family and friends, playing the guitar, shooting sports, working out and fishing.

Preston is survived by his mother, Paula Page Shaw of the home; maternal grandmother, Reiko Page, of Poplar Bluff; aunts and uncles: Carolyn and Dodson Cravens, of Poplar Bluff, Sharon Jeep of St. Louis, Mo., Mike and Teresa Page of Poplar Bluff, Diana Tessereau of Crystal City, Mo., and Judy and Bill Kreitler of Bloomsdale, Mo.; cousins: Miranda Hall, Lance Cravens, Kristen Capps, Patrick Jeep, Logan Page, Dylan Page, Andrea and Jacob Tessereau and Darren Kreitler.

His father, Dennis Shaw and grandparents, Paul ""Red"" Page, Harold and Wilma Shaw, and an aunt, Eileen Shaw preceded Preston in death.

Visitation will begin at noon. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Johnny Sprous will officiate. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made in memory of Preston to the John 3:16 Ministries, 75 Holmes Road, Charlotte, Arkansas, 72522.
