Ralph Thornburgh

Ralph A. Thornburgh, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on Sunday March 31, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Mr. Thornburgh was born on July 11, 1937 in Gideon, MO to Oscar and Estella Pruitte Thornburgh.

He married Abbie Marie Bollinger, whom preceded him in death in 1989.

Mr. Thornburgh was a retired logger and farmer. He was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed spending time with his family, horses and tinkering. He served in the United States Army and was an organ donor.

Survivors include his children: Steven Thornburgh (Patti) of Julian, CA, Donald Thornburgh (Annette) of Como, TX, Mary Reeves (Mitch Dukes) of Dexter, MO, Betty Schmidt of Moscow Mills, MO, John Thornburgh (Anne) of Patterson, MO, Doris Woods (Clark) of Fredericktown, MO, Jennifer Goodluck of Poplar Bluff, MO, 26 grandchildren, 31great-grandchildren, a special companion; Gail Lane, and a sister Sara Rodriquez of Christabol, TX.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Ann Thornburgh.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Patterson Cemetery.
