Ramona K. (Hampton) Estep

Ramona K. Estep, 59, of Chaffee, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at Benchmark Health Care of Greenville, Mo.

Mrs. Estep was born July 8, 1952 in St. Louis, Mo. She was a former secretary for the St. Louis School System, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Estep was a member of Chaffee General Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.

On Aug. 28, 1981, she married Frank Estep in Chaffee in Chaffee, Mo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 2009.

Survivors include a son, Chris Estep of Chaffee, Mo.; three grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth L. Johnson of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13th at Chaffee General Baptist Church in Chaffee with Pastor Bob Lewis officiating. A dinner for family and friends will follow in the Church Fellowship Hall. Interment of Mrs. Estep's ashes will be at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
