Ramona Marie Waller

Ramona Waller, age 62, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. Though she spent her recent years in Kansas City, Ramona called southeast Missouri home for most of her life.

Ramona was a woman of strength, compassion, and quiet grace. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and her nurturing heart was felt not only by her patients but by all who knew her.

Ramona had a deep love for nature and animals — she found joy in horses, cherished her dogs, tended lovingly to her flower garden, and felt at peace near the ocean. Her Christian faith shone through in her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the beautiful smile she generously shared with the world.

She is survived by her loving mother, Bea; her sister, Rebecca (Stuart); her niece, Kathryn (Tyler); her nephew, Christopher (Kennedy); and her beloved great-niece, Addy, and great-nephew, Everett. Ramona is also remembered with love by many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve, her infant sister, Regina, and her father, Shelby.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 27, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care in Ramona's honor.

Ramona’s kind spirit, loving nature, and beautiful smile leave a lasting imprint on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
