Randy Dale Freeman, 48, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 in Poplar Bluff as the result of an accident.
Mr. Freeman was born April 16, 1960, in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of New Life Christian Church, in Poplar Bluff, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Freeman was a disabled veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and motorcycles.
On July 8, 2000 he married Theresa Banks, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include eight children; Constance Heather Freeman, of Knobel, Ark., Gloria Robinson and companion, Alan Harris, Heather Cluck and husband Dallas, and Paul Robinson and companion Tina Puf, all of Springfield, James Henry and fiance Ashley Thomas, John Henry, Mary Henry and Kimberly Henry, all of Poplar Bluff; his mother, Norma Jean (Barker) Muller, of Ellsinore; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Cindy Horrell, of Waterloo, Ill., and Sonja Hollis and husband Mark, of Salem, Mo.; a brother, Donald Emerson and wife Sherra, of Ellsinore; an aunt, Donna Malloy, of Wappapello; and an uncle, John Barker and wife Janet, of Poplar Bluff.
His son, Justin Freeman, father, Eugene B. Emerson, and brother, David Wayne Freeman preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel with the Rev. Morris Ball officiating. Interment of Mr. Freeman's ashes with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield.
