Randy Carter Hoxworth

Randy Carter Hoxworth, 67, of Springville, Tenn., formerly of Poplar Bluff, Mo, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, August 17, 2018 at his residence.

Randy, the son of the late Robert Carson and Audrey Baysinger Hoxworth, was born Feb. 13, 1951 in Poplar Bluff. He was of the Baptist faith, and had retired as owner and operator of Hogg Grocery. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors and fishing.

Randy married the love of his life Susan Hogg on Aug. 15, 1971. He survives.

Other survivors include their son, William Robert “Bill” Hoxworth and his wife Karla of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Abigail, Lauren and Evan Hoxworth; two sisters, Phyllis Hansen and her husband Bill and Connie Funke and her husband Tim of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Robert C. Hoxworth, Jr. and his wife Karen of Wentzville, Mo., and Rick Hoxworth and his wife Mildred of Alabama.
