Raymond A. Manns, 80, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Manns was born May 25, 1933 in Poplar Bluff to the late John R. and Olga M. Mack. He was of the Baptist faith and was a farmer. Mr. Manns was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed farming and carpentry work.
On April 7, 1956, he married Hazel F. Burnside in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his son, Roy L. Manns and wife, Phyllis of Poplar Bluff; granddaughter, Megan S. Manns; sister, Pat Lowe of Sun City, Ariz.; two brothers, Martin Manns and wife, Margie and Delmar Manns and wife, Mary all of Poplar Bluff; and sister-in-law, Ann Manns also of Poplar Bluff.
His parents, two sisters, Earline Shockley and Gladys Sparks, and three brothers, Clifford Manns, John Riley Manns and Virgil Manns preceded him in death.
A graveside service with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Brother Bobby Robbins officiating.
