Raymond "Rick" Riccardo Nicolini

Raymond "Rick" Riccardo Nicolini, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away on January 11, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Rick was born on February 04, 1937, to Ezzio "Nick" and Mildred (Ross) Nicolini in Lake Village, Arkansas. He married Barbara (Reed) on October 03, 1977, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Rick attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Poplar Bluff. In his younger years, he was a talented football player receiving All State in high school and many other awards. He was also an avid hunter, gun enthusiast, and bocce ball champion. Rick was considered an icon in the Poplar Bluff beauty industry. He opened the first male-owned beauty shop in Poplar Bluff and operated it for over 65 years.

Rick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barb Nicolini; two sons, Bobby (Sandy) Nicolini and Shannon (Jennifer) Nicolini; two daughters, Brenda (Robert) Harget and Melony Wise Nicolini; three sisters, Judy Sills, Pat Smiddy, and Catherine Rice; ten grandchildren, RJ (Sara) Harget, Alex (Sarah) Nicolini, Okeemah Nicolini, Lucas (Gabby) Nicolini, Tabyus Rodgers, Katie Bazzell, Kalie (Brad) Nicolini, Tiffanie (Gary) Nicolini, Nicholas Nicolini, Gabriel Nicolini; 14 great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Ezzio "Nick" and Mildred; daughter, Linda Nicolini Hutter; two brothers, Robert and Nick Nicolini; two sisters, MaryAnn Stage and Rose Mock; brother-in-law, Richard Sills.

Gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 12:30-2:30pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Celebration of Life service will follow beginning at 2:30pm with Reverend Neal Chilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
