Rhonda Bollinger Mitchem

Rhonda Bollinger Mitchem, 52, of Poplar Bluff passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at her residence.

Ms. Mitchem was born May 18, 1963 in St. Louis, Mo., to the late John Mitchem and Barbara (Risner) Parnell. She had worked as a caregiver for seven years. Ms. Mitchem loved spending time with her family and her four dogs, camping, fishing and being outdoors.

Survivors include her fiancée, Jimmy Bollinger of Poplar Bluff; four children: Amanda Burgess of Poplar Bluff, Shawn Cole of Montana, Kera Wagster of Adams County, Ohio and Christy Weaver of Arkansas; six grandchildren; three brothers: Robert "Bobby" Parnell (Marie), Paul Parnell and Mark Mitchem (Cindy); and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Shane Parnell and stepfather, Robert Parnell also preceded her in death.

A Memorial gathering will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12th at Wheatley Park on Benton Street in Poplar Bluff.

The family has requested that any food or donations be sent or brought to Amanda Burgess at 653 N. Main St., in Poplar Bluff.
