Richard C. ""Condy"" Smith, Sr., 62, of Neelyville, Mo. died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born Feb. 18, 1949 in Stoneington, Ill. He was of the Pentecostal faith and had retired as a tie buyer for Arkoma. Mr. Smith was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature.

Survivors include 2 children, April Crum of Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Richard C. Smith, Jr. of Jonesboro, Ark.; 4 grandchildren; 6 sisters, Patricia Shepard and Sharon Willcut both of Poplar Bluff, Yvonne Wagner of Naylor, Mo., Brenda McWilliams of Harviell, Mo., Virgie Newsom of Paxton, Ill. and Jeannie Pitzen of Stoneville, NC; and 2 brothers, Robert Smith, Jr. of Spring Hill, Tenn. and Jim Smith of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel. Burial will be at Cochran Cemetery in Butler County.
