Rick L. Damron, 55, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Damron was born Oct. 29, 1954 in Kennett. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dog Cole, listening to music, watching sports and his 2005 GMC Sierra. Mr. Damron was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Nov. 28, 1981, he married Dianna Dover in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include two children, Terri Damron of Poplar Bluff and Shawn Damron and wife Rachel of St. Charles, Mo.; three grandchildren, McKenzie Damron, Rylan Lashua and Blake Damron; his parents, Bill and Dorothy (Fry) Damron of Kennett; a sister, Vicky Cross and husband Steve of Kennett; and a brother, Tim Damron and wife Vinnie also of Kennett.
A memorial service will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff with Rev. Charles Buck officiating. After the service the family will receive and visit with family and friends until 6:30 p.m.
