Rita Lee Pope Prestwood

Rita Lee Pope Prestwood, 84, of Schaumburg, Ill., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Prestwood was born Feb. 7, 1926 in Hoxie, Ark. She grew up in Poplar Bluff and was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. Mrs. Prestwood was of the Protestant faith, and had retired as a secretary for a printing company.

Her husband, James Prestwood preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 2010.

A nephew, Richard H. Pope of Sandy, Utah survives.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
