Robbie Jo Gunells, 79, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Gunells was born Aug. 17, 1930 in Truman, Ark. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Gunells enjoyed making crafts and ceramics, and as an artist she enjoyed painting with watercolors.
On Jan. 10, 1975 she married Arthur Gunells in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1997.
Mrs. Gunells is survived by three sisters: Mary Green and husband Billy and Betty Laymon and husband Bill all of Poplar Bluff and Emma Sue Farmer of Ft. Worth, Tex.; a brother, Willie Gene Brewer and wife Sue of Pacific; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Bartly David and Gradie Lucille (Clay) Brewer, sister, Wilma Brewer and brothers, Ivy Gene Brewer, Sr., Thomas David Brewer and William Jessie Brewer also preceded Mrs. Gunells in death.
Visitation was held Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel with the Rev. Ernie Rogers officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
