Robert Bailey

Robert (Bob) Bailey Sr., 77, of Greenville, passed away on January 31, 2018 at his residence in Greenville, Mo.

Robert was born on March 15, 1940 to Margaret Bailey in West Memphis, AR. Robert worked as a lifelong machinist, and owner operator of Bailey Machine until his illness retired him. On March 31, 1978 he married Dianne, Robert and Dianne lived in Greenville, MO.

Bob was a wonderful husband and a gentle, kind-hearted man who loved to tell a good joke. He survived a five-year battle with brain cancer but succumbed to lung and bladder cancer.

Robert is survived by loving spouse of 39 years and 10 months Dianne Bailey; two sons, Robert Bailey Jr. of Bastrop, TX, Erik Bailey of Janesville, WI; three daughters, Janet (Dan) Hussmann of Janesville, WI, Elizabeth Bailey of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, Tanya (Scott) Snodgrass of Poplar Bluff, MO; six grandchildren, Danielle Day, Devon Hussmann, Keisha Bailey, Devontae Bailey, Levi Larson, and Dane Brown; five great-grandchildren: Kahlon Day, Vincent Day Jr., Landon, Hailey, and Ember Larson.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and son, Warren Bailey.

The family will hold a private Celebration of life for Bob at a later date.
