Robert "Bob" Joe Killian

Robert Joe Killian, 87, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 30, 2025, at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Bob was born on May 18, 1938, to Lyndell and Myrtle (Qualls) Killian in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Betty Jean (Fritts) on February 12, 1961, also in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Bob was a proud member of the United States Air Force. He and Betty were charter members of Fellowship General Baptist Church. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and working in his yard. Christmas decorations were always in abundance at the Killian home that Bob built himself in 1979. He gave the phrase "Jack of all trades" true meaning and seemed to have natural talent in many areas. Bob was known to be a kind, caring, and hardworking man.

Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Killian; one son, Allen Killian (Tammy Peters); one brother, Lyndell "Junior" Killian; one granddaughter, Adrienne Killian; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 03, 2025, from 10:00-11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Byron Beck officiating. Burial will take place at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 1:00pm with full military honors present.
