Robert Bryan Fairless

Robert “Rob” Bryan Fairless, 52, of Springfield, Mo., died Monday November 4, 2019 at Burke Medical Center in Waynesboro, Georgia.

Rob, the son of Myron George Fairless, Jr. and Judith Ann (Lichtenegger) Lee was born Oct. 24, 1967 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was of the Christian faith and was a 1986 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. Rob was employed as a Union Carpenter Scaffolding Journeyman. He was an avid golfer and sport enthusiast. Some of his favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rob always had a smile on his face and never spoke an unkind word about anyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Survivors include his mother Judy Lichtenegger Lee; a daughter Kassi Riley; his sister Anita Porter Duffy; two nieces Tara Duffy and Shayna Duffy; a nephew Blake Duffy; two aunts, Pat Cooper and Mary Helen Duggar; cousins, Jim Hunt, Jane Silwell, Bruce Hunt, Angie Scwartz, Mark McPheeters, Jennifer Dunlap, Greg Peters and Doug Peters.

He was preceded in death by his father Myron George Fairless, Jr. and his grandparents, W.J. and Ruby Lichtenegger and Myron G. and Mae Fairless.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Saturday November 9, 2019 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, Mo. with the funeral service following at 12 p.m. Pastor T. J. Woodard will officiate. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
