Robert E. ""Bob"" Fredwell, 64, of Poplar Bluff passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 at Landmark Hospital, in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Fredwell was born Sept. 24, 1943, in Hamburg, Iowa. He was a member of First Baptist Church, and had retired from Ozark Border Electrical Cooperative. Mr. Fredwell was known for telling jokes, and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, and hunting and fishing.
On Dec. 9 1972, he married Deborah ""Debbie"" Taylor, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include daughter, Mindy Marshburn, of Richlands, NC; son, Jamie T. Fredwell and wife Becky, of Poplar Bluff; mother, Myrtle Fredwell, of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Mark Turner, Joshua Flanagan, Sammuel Turner, Matthew Fredwell, Trevin Eason, Nicole Eason, Ashton Fredwell and Deven Fredwell; sister, Arvella Dugas.
His father, Arvel ""Butch"" Fredwell, sons, James Robert Fredwell and Robert L. ""Bert"" Fredwell and wife Sarah, sister, Mary Griffin, and brothers, Charles Fredwell, Garcelee Fredwell, and Bennie Fredwell preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial will be at Montgomery Cemetery, in Butler County.
