Robert J. Lee

Robert Joe ""Worm"" Lee, 56, of Williamsville died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lee was born Aug. 29, 1952, in Poplar Bluff. He was previously employed with McLane Trucking as a truck driver, but was currently disabled. Mr. Lee was a member of the American Legion Post 153 and Eagles Lodge, in Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, and hunting and fishing.

On Oct. 1, 2000 he was married to Susan Blakeney, in Corning, Ark. She survives.

Other survivors include his son, Jason Lee and wife Angie and Jason's mother, Audrey Thomas and her two children, Eden Thomas and Allen Thomas, all of Ellington; daughter, Elizabeth Lee, of Potosi; step-daughter, Brandy Kearbey and husband Shane, of Poplar Bluff; granddaughter, Makenzie Lee; two step-grandsons, Blakeney Kearbey and Chase Kearbey; brother, Jimmy Lee and wife Ramona, of Poplar Bluff; and special friend, Elizabeth Crutchfield, of Broseley.

His parents, George D. and Dorothy A. (Hall) Lee preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Mr. Larry Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
