Robert Ferrill Miller

Robert Ferrell Miller, 82, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.

Mr. Miller was born in Macomb, IL on July 15, 1931, to Oscar F. and Vernette Johnson Miller.

On August 22, 1952, he married Faye Crites in Essex, MO. She survives of the home.

Bob was a member of First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff and the American Legion Post 153 in Poplar Bluff. He had served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, and retired in 1988 as a Sergeant with the Missouri Highway Patrol, after 30 years of service. Bob (Bobba) enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, and carpentry work, which showed in the houses that he built.

Survivors include his wife, their children; Ken F. Miller (Wenmay) of Littleton, CO, Lynn W. Miller (Cindy), of Farmington, MO, and Michael A. Miller of Poplar Bluff, 4 grandchildren; Jennifer Roth (Eric), Lance Miller, Matthew Miller, and Andrew Miller, 3 great grandchildren; Jade, Cannon and Lila Faye, and a brother William J. Miller of Maple Grove, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Beverly Mourfield.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 ? 11:00 a.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 with Rev. David Stewart officiating. Interment will follow with Full Military Honors at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
