Robert Jay Ordway

Robert Jay Ordway, 67, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Ordway was born May 30, 1945 in Holgate, Ohio, and had been disabled for many years.

Survivors include two children, Chad Ordway and Robert ""Bobby"" Ordway and wife Debbie, all of Poplar Bluff; a step-daughter, Barbara Espey, of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Mary Shepherd of Qulin, Beulah Mae Goings, of Port Charlotte, FL, and Helen Rose of Apache Junction, AZ; a brother, Paul Richard Ordway, of Aztec, New Mexico; and several grandchildren.

His parents, Perry J. Ordway and Alice Cora Harter Ordway preceded him in death.

A brief visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Berger Cemetery, off County Road 243 near Qulin. A graveside service and interment will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Berger officiating.
