Robert Parnell Sr.

Robert Dale Parnell Sr., 65, of Poplar Bluff, died at his home Saturday, May 25, 2013.

Mr. Parnell was born on August 1, 1947 in Paragould, AR to Mary Magaline, she preceded him in death.

Robert was an over the road truck driver, who loved spending time with his family, watching old movies and reading the bible.

He is survived by his children: Robert Parnell Jr. (Marie), Paul Parnell, Mark Mitchem (Cindy), Rhonda Dillow and his sister, Mary Jo Weaver (Ronald), 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, all of Poplar Bluff, MO. Also surviving is his Aunt Gertrude Newton of Matthews, NC, who was very special in his life and like a mother to him.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. David Tharp officiating.
