Roger William Stanfill

Roger William Stanfill, 55, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Stanfill was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Kennett, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Stanfill enjoyed playing the piano, collecting jewelry and model cars and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Lynn Seals, of Houston, Tex.; mother, Anna Mae (Gaines) Stanfill, of Louisville, Ky.; sister, Melba Driskill, of Louisville, Ky.; and brother, Kevin Stanfill, of Sikeston, Mo.

The funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Ralph Mayes officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, in Bloomfield, Mo.
