Rollie Almond Browning

Rollie A. Browning, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Mr. Browning was born in Poplar Bluff on February 11, 1924, to Eddie and Kathryn Burgess Browning.

On September 21, 1946, he married Wilma Manon Urich in Pocohontas, Arkansas, she preceded him in death on June 6, 2013.

Mr. Browning was a member of the First Baptist Church and had previously worked as a carpenter, and homebuilder. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, camping, and fishing.

Survivors include his children; Nonna Sue Franz (Henry) of Waynesville, NC, Ronald Allen Browning (Lynda) of Joplin, MO, grandchildren; Rebecca Browning, Elizabeth Krause (Cory), Jonathan Franz (Arlene), and Matthew Franz (Becky), great-grandchildren; Christian and Jett Franz, a brother Clifford Browning, and a sister Mabel Graham, both of Poplar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; James Eddie, Junior E., William, Slim and Doc Browning and three sisters; Janivee Schenewerk, Ila Whitmer and Della Graham.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens in Poplar Bluff at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, with Dr. William Vail officiating.
