Ron Resnik

Ron Resnik, 71, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on July 3, 1946 to Lawrence and Vineta (Womack) Resnik in Poplar Bluff. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1964. After graduation he attended Christan Brothers College in Memphis, TN and then enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. Ron owned Resnik Insurance Adjusting Services for over 40 years. On October 7, 1967 he married Dianna Kaimon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff.

Ron was an avid golfer and whiffle ball enthusiast.

Ron is survived by his loving spouse of 50 years, Dianna, of the home; two sons, Jeffery Resnik of Poplar Bluff, MO and Todd (Julie) Resnik of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Brettine Rayburn, Teylor Resnik, Trevor Resnik, and Karolina Resnik; two great-grandchildren, Axel and Abel Rayburn; and one sister, Sandy (Gary) England of Poplar Bluff, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m.Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Sacred Heart School (Special Education Program) in honor of Ron Resnik.
