Ronald Earl Gray, Jr., 44, of Bartlett, Tenn., died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn. as the results of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on May 16.
Mr. Gray was born Nov. 25, 1965 in Memphis, and was of the Protestant faith. He was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School Class of 1984, and received a Masters of Education Degree at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn. in 1992. Mr. Gray was employed as a Multi-media Salesman for the Commercial Appeal newspaper in Memphis, and was active in the Chamber of Commerce in Bartlett. He enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends and watching football.
Survivors include his children, Walker Gray and Lillian Gray both of Cordova, Tenn.; parents, Ronald Earl Sr. and Sarah Reed Gray of Poplar Bluff; brother, Tommy Rutherford and wife Carla of North Little Rock, Ark.; and special friend, Debbie Morrison of Bartlett, Tenn.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26th at the Bartlett Station Municipal Center, 5868 Stage Road, in Bartlett, TN 38134, with Mr. Lou Lambert officiating and the Mayor A. Keith McDonald assisting.
A local Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 1st at Westwood Center, 2445 No. Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff, MO 63901.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to the Autism Society of the Midsouth, P.O. Box 382294, Germantown, TN 38183.
