Ronald E. Nelson

Ronald Everett ""Bo"" Nelson, 54, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at his residence.

Mr. Nelson was born July 24, 1956 in St. Louis, Mo. He was formerly employed with the Coca Cola Bottling Company, and for the past 15 years had been employed with Stovall Meat Company. Mr. Nelson enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his daughter, Tracey J. Nelson of Poplar Bluff; son, Jason Nelson of Poplar Bluff; mother, Rosie M. (Wilson) Nelson of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren, McKenzie Hall, Lucas Hopper and Jonas Hopper; three sisters, Carol Nelson and Donna Pinner and husband Buddy all of Poplar Bluff and Emily Riggs and husband Chuck of Kennett, Mo.; brother, Donald ""Bo"" Nelson of Poplar Bluff; and best friend, Tommy Mosley of Poplar Bluff.

His father, Roy Everett Nelson preceded him in death on May 2, 1991.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at the Carson Hill Cemetery in Wayne County.
