Ronald Phillip ""Ronnie"" Worley, 76, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Worley was born July 29, 1934 in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of Collins Chapel Church, and had retired from Greer Construction Co. after 30 years of service. Mr. Worley was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting.
On Aug. 31, 1957, he married Margaret Digges in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Terri Copeland and her children, Shawn Stone, Blair Copeland and Carson Copeland and Leisa Meyer and her daughter Kayla Meyer all of Cypress, Tex.; a sister, Patsy Ruble of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Don Worley and Glenn Worley both of Poplar Bluff.
His parents, Shelby and Roma (Christian) Worley preceded him in death.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with Pastor Edward Pikey officiating. A graveside service with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
