Rose Leona Killian, 81, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Killian was born Dec. 18, 1929 in Naylor, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. During her early years Mrs. Killian was a factory worker in St. Louis, Mo. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, playing cards and bowling.
On Nov. 23, 1956, she married Fred L. Killian in St. Louis, Mo. He survives.
Other survivors include her sons, Robert M. Killian of Doolittle, Mo., Fred A. Killian and wife Jivonna of Bonne Terre, Mo. and Stephen E. Killian of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, Erin, Keri, Alisha, Cassie, Krystal, Nicholas and Dante; and six great-grandchildren, Austin, Hailey, Kailey, Carson, Ciara and Caligh Rose.
Her parents, Hannible and Lela Francis (Shawn) Hays, four sisters and three brothers, preceded Mrs. Killian in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will follow at Marble Hill Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
