Rosie Lee Harris, 79, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at her residence.
Ms. Harris was born Jan. 30, 1932 in White Haven, Tenn. She was a member of Conley Grove Missionary Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Ms. Harris enjoyed singing and taking care of children and the ill.
Survivors include 6 children, Bettie Pruitt of Lansing, Mich., Arthur Lee Harris of Powder Springs, Ga., Theresa Jones, Laureatha Terry and Benjamin Harris all of Poplar Bluff and Rosie Hall of Cape Girardeau; 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Estellar M. Williams of Poplar Bluff and Annie Lee Presberry of St. Louis.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19th at First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the church with the Rev. John McCain officiating and the Rev. Johnny Williams assisting. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
