Ruby Jean Anderson

Ruby J. Anderson, 40, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical center.

Ms. Anderson was born April 23, 1966, in Malden. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. During her school years she played basketball and ran track. Ms. Anderson enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping.

Survivors include her mother, Joyce Anderson Rose, of Poplar Bluff; step-father, Eddie Rose, of Poplar Bluff; father, Bobby Harley, of Ind.; and two sisters, Debra Davis, of Memphis, Tenn. and Patricia Anderson, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and her brother, Melvin Anderson, of Kansas City.

The visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Anderson officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
