Ruby Lee Jones

Ruby Lee Jones, 85, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Jones was born July 5, 1925 in Senath, Mo. She was a member of Calvary Community Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jones enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, quilting and flower gardening.

On July 14, 1942, she married John Jones in Clay County, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include two grandchildren, John Perry and wife, Vickie of Juneau, Alaska and Terri Perry of Poplar Bluff; and four great-grandchildren.

Her parents, John and Bertha (Brewer) Beaver and a daughter, Martha Lee Perry preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Chapel with the Rev. Shelvie Stephens officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
