Ruddy ""Bud"" Reno, 71, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Reno was born Feb. 10, 1937, in Marston, Mo., and was of the Pentecostal faith. He had retired from J. S. Alberici Iron Works, in St. Louis, and was a member of the Iron Workers Local Union 518, also in St. Louis. Mr. Reno enjoyed spending time with his family, playing softball (especially pitching) and fishing and hunting.
On Jan. 21, 1960 he married Wanda Morse, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include five children, James William Reno and Michael Ray Reno, both of East Prairie, Mo, Teresa Lynn Reno and Amber Leigh Reno, both of Poplar Bluff and Lowell ""Buddy"" Reno, of Bloomsdale; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a sister, Ida Wood, of Gideon, Mo.; and four brothers, George Reno and Richard Reno, both of Poplar Bluff, Freddie ""Pokie"" Reno, of St. Charles, Mo. and Markie Reno, of Caruthersville, Mo.
The visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel with the Bro. Bob Davis officiating. According to Mr. Reno's wishes he will be cremated.
