Ruth Ann Hupp

Ruth Ann Hupp, 82, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 at Westwood Hills Healthcare in Poplar Bluff.

Ms. Hupp, the daughter of the late Carl and Delia King Becker, was born July 10, 1934 in Holland, Mo. She was of the Methodist faith and had retired as a caregiver for Butler County Home Health. During her earlier years, she worked at Noelle Christmas Ornaments Company, Florsheim Shoe Factory as well as Rowe Furniture Company. Ms. Hupp enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading and traveling.

Survivors include two children, Mary S. (George) Davis and Delbert L. (Barbara) Hupp; a daughter-in-law, Anita Hupp all of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren: Darrel Davis, Amanda Ward, Amber Young and Ashley Amaro; nine great-grandchildren: Courtney Ward, Emily Ward-Roles, Bryce Davis, Kaden Davis, Serenity Davis, Haden Young, Walker Young, Sierra Amaro and Mia Amaro; and a sister, Clare Meyers of St. Peters, Mo.

Her son, Randall A. Hupp, a special friend and companion of 18 years, Horace Pope, a sister, Mildred Hupp, two brothers, James O Becker and Austin Becker and the father of her children, E. L. "Bud" Hupp also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
