Sadie Lee Sadler

Sadie Lee Sadler, 93, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2025, at Oakdale Care Center.

Sadie was born on July 11, 1932, to Mack and Gusta Mae (Wilson) Anderson in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Alfred E. Sadler on March 05, 1949, in Piggott, Arkansas.

Sadie worked at Walmart for over 30 years and was known for her friendly and welcoming personality. She never went to work without a roll of stickers to hand out, and local families looked forward to seeing her for generations. Sadie was a member of Northend Holiness Church where her husband served as Pastor for over 25 years; her faith and church family were very near and dear to her heart. Sadie was an avid traveler. She went on cruises with her sister every chance they got and spent the cold winter months trying to stay warm in Texas. No matter if she was working or traveling, Sadie never met a stranger. Her kindness and warm personality made an impact on anyone she crossed paths with.

Sadie is survived by her son, Kenneth Sadler; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Gusta Mae; husband, Alfred E. Sadler; daughter, Saundra Kidd; son in infancy, Stephen; four sisters, Maxine Hanna, Wanda Malley, Joyce Kraus, and Pat Davis; two brothers, Clarence and Robert Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 09, 2025, from 12:00-1:00pm, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Daryl Friday officiating. Burial will take place at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
