Sadie Irene Virden Westpahl

Sadie Irene Virden Westphal. 92, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Westphall was born July 24, 1913, in Zalma. She attended New Hope Baptist Church and had retired as an instructor for the San Soucie Garment Factory. During her younger years Mrs. Westphal loved to dance; and all during her life she enjoyed helping others.

On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Alfred Wilham Westphal, in Granite City, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Survivors include a cousin and caregiver, Raymond Weber, of Poplar Bluff; and a sister, Myrtle McInturff, of Poplar Bluff.
