Sammie Lou (Gross) Frederick

Sammie Lou Frederick, 65, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.

Ms. Frederick was born Oct. 31, 1948 in Houston, Texas to the late Charles and Willa (See) Gross. She was a homemaker and she was an avid Marilyn Monroe fan. Ms. Frederick enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, shopping, and animals.

Survivors include her companion of over 20 years, Jerry Goodman of the home; children: Stephen Frederick of Poplar Bluff and Robert Eldridge, Jr. of Brennan, Tex.; grandchildren: Crystal Eldridge Logan and Jordan Eldridge Worden both of Poplar Bluff and Kassidy Eldridge Baugh of Warrenton, Mo.; and great-granddaughter, Makenzie Dimmett.

In addition to her parents, a daughter, Tammy Eldridge Johnson preceded her in death.

A graveside service and burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Marble Hill Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating.
