Sandra J. Digges

Sandra J. Digges, 76, of Williamsville, MO., passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Sandra, the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Dauphin Asher, was born Jan. 30, 1941 in Kankakee, IL. She was of the Protestant faith, and had worked as a counseling service receptionist for a number of years. Sandra enjoyed gardening, and was always available to lend a helping hand.

On Dec. 16, 1998, she married George Digges in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2003.

Survivors include three sisters, Marcy Wagner (Bob) of Plymouth, IN, Nancy Siler of St. Charles and Gloria Jones of Kirkwood; her son, Steven Hahn (Dawn) of St. Charles; two grandchildren, Jarod (Kaylie) Hahn and Alyson Hahn of St. Charles; a step-daughter, Deborah Clark (Andy) of Poplar Bluff; the loving Digges family; seven nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and one great-great niece.

Two infants, Vickie and Doug also preceded Sandra in death.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with a Memorial Service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. James Schremp will officiate. Inurnment will be at the City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
