Shannon Cherie Miller Wilson

Shannon Cherie Miller Wilson, 42, of Poplar Bluff passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Mrs. Wilson was born April 27, 1971 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson was formerly employed as a youth specialist at Sears Youth Center. She loved to spend time with her family, being outdoors and going to the river.

In April 2010, she married Clayton Wilson in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Other survivors include two children, Hillary Miller of Enid Okla. and Joshua Webb of Poplar Bluff; her parents, Rafael and Debbie Boeving Miller of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Sean Miller of Poplar Bluff and Leo Miller of Marion, Ill.; grandmothers, Elsa Boeving of Poplar Bluff and Leocadia Miller of Pilot Grove, Mo.; special nieces, Madison Miller Makenzie Miller and Mercedes Miller of Marion, Ill.; and uncles, Roger Boeving of Newport News, Va., Hugh Boeving of Poplar Bluff.

Her grandfathers, Leo Boeving and David Miller preceded her in death.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2013 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with a Celebration of Life following at 11:30 a.m. Deacon David Miller and Rev. Jeff Clark will officiate. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
