Sharon Angline White, 89, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away on Thursday, November 06, 2025, at her home.
Sharon was born on February 26, 1936, to Ora and Alma (Odell) Crane in Dudley, Missouri. She married Harvey "Bud" White on February 16, 1956, in Fisk, Missouri.
Sharon was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff. She and her late husband Bud shared a passion for the Shriners and their hospitals. With the support and encouragement of their family, they dedicated 10 years to serving in the Officer Line of Moolah Shrine in St. Louis. She was an active member of the Three Rivers Shrinettes and was First Lady while Bud served as Illustrious Potentate of Moolah Shrine. Sharon was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. She was a long-time member of Westwood Country Club. Sharon was a Girl Scout leader for her daughters in her younger years. She had a great love for flowers and enjoyed gardening. Sharon loved shopping, hosting holiday celebrations, and spending time with her family. She was effortlessly elegant, timelessly classy, and adored by many.
Sharon is survived by her three daughters, Beverly (Freeman) Vernon, Marilyn Trout, and Karen (Steve) Johnson; one son, Rick (Barbara) White; 10 grandchildren, Blair (Brandon) March, Herschel Vernon, Levi Vernon, Jessica (Greg) Snider, Amanda (Ryan) Bader, Ashton (Jared) Sung, Weston (Laura) Johnson, Trevor (Meadow) White, Hunter (Hailey) White, and Lindsay (Casen) Huggins; 21 great-grandchildren and another expected early 2026; sister-in-law, Barbara Crane; along with numerous extended family and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey "Bud" White; three brothers, Conway, Bob, and Bill Crane; granddaughter, Leigh Ann Trout; two sons-in-law, Herschel Vernon and Jimmy Dale Trout.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 11:00am - 12:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at Noon with Pastor Bill Turner officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in St. Louis or First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff.
