Shawn Montgomery

Shawn Dale Montgomery, 42, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 19, 1975 to Dale and Nova (Pratt) Montgomery in Poplar Bluff, MO. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1994.

Shawn was a passionate gamer and lover of all things Magic, Pathfinder, and Dungeons and Dragons. He could often be found slinging or trading cards behind a table at Siera Phoenix Gaming, surrounded by those who knew and loved him. He was a founding member of the Spellcasters’ Local 160.

He was a member of Township Line Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

Shawn is survived by his three daughters, Kaitlin, Alyssa, and Brooke Montgomery; his mother, Nova Montgomery; one brother, Christopher (Sarah) Montgomery; fiancée, Stephanie Crawford; and nephew and niece, William and Rachel Montgomery, all of Poplar Bluff, MO.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Montgomery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 5 – 6:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.
Memorial services will be held immediately following visitation at 6:00 pm in the chapel with Elder Charles Pratt officiating and Jeremiah Gordon speaking.
