Shelby Glenn Blades

Shelby Glenn Blades, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Blades, the son of the late George and Artis (Terry) Blades was born Aug. 30, 1940 in Parma, Mo. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an Electrician.

Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Waller of Poplar Bluff and Rebecca Cahill, two grandchildren, Christopher Cahill and Kathryn Cahill, a brother Kenneth Blades of Memphis, Tenn., a sister Dorothy Stegall of St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Blades.

The visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Daniel Robles officiating. Burial with full military honors will held at noon at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
